Some parents are apparently trying to reverse autism by giving their children toxic ‘miracle’ bleach enemas

Apart from the obvious risks, this does not work. To be clear: This is not a risky therapy, this is child abuse.

Parents are turning to a dangerous industrial solution used for bleaching wood pulp in a bid to reverse autism in their children, according to reports.

The proclaimed ‘miracle cure’ Miracle Mineral Solution, which contains chlorine dioxide – a mix of sodium chlorite and citric acid – is the brainchild of Jim Humble, who left the Church of Scientology to form the Genesis II Church of Healing & Health and claims his product can cure HIV, malaria, hepatitis, autism, acne and cancer.

And If You Only News reports that parents are turning to the substance – called ‘dangerous’ and ‘potentially life threatening’ by the Food and Drug Administration – in order to try and reverse autism in their children.
